Richard Rawson, President of Insperity, has been a director of the Company since 1989. Insperity is a nationally-recognized leader in providing HR services for small to mid-sized businesses throughout the US. Insperity services include workers’ compensation and health insurance benefits for the employees and their client companies. Mr. Rawson manages these insurance divisions and has helped make Insperity one of the largest providers of workers’ compensation and health insurance in the country. He strongly believes in the benefits of integrative approaches to healthcare and has long supported expanded access to effective alternatives to conventional medicine.
Mr. Rawson has served the National Association of Professional Employer Organizations (“NAPEO”) as President, as well as Chairman of the Accounting Practices Committee. He has a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the University of Houston and currently serves as a member of the board for the C.T. Bauer College of Business.
Dr. Brian Klepper
Brian Klepper, PhD is Principal of Worksite Health Advisors and a nationally prominent health care analyst and commentator. He is a former Principal of a worksite clinic/medical management firm, and speaks and writes extensively on clinics, high performance health care and the management of health care clinical and financial risk.
He is a regular contributor to the health care trade press, is a reviewer for the journals Health Affairs and The Journal of Ambulatory Care Management, and an advisor to several health care firms and foundations. A purchaser advocate, he has focused on the market and policy dynamics of the health care cost crisis, and readily available solutions to purchasers willing to approach the problem laterally. The George Washington University Masters in Health Administration Program ranked Brian’s writing, archived at Care & Cost, the top 2016 blog by a health care professional. Feedspot named it a 2017 top 100 health care blog.
Dr. Carol Bickford
Carol J. Bickford, PhD, RN-BC, CPHIMS, FHIMSS, FAA is a managing partner for Informatics Consulting and Continuing Education, LLC (ICCE, LLC), a small, woman-owned, veteran business. ICCE is best known for its award-winning continuing education program, Weekend/Weekday Immersion in Nursing Informatics (WINI). Dr. Bickford is board certified in nursing informatics by the American Nurses Credentialing Center, has earned the CPHIMS credential from HIMSS, was inducted as a 2014 Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing, and was designated as a HIMSS Fellow in 2015.
Dr. Bickford received her BSN degree from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, completed her Masters of Science degree in nursing at Rush University in Chicago, and received her PhD in nursing informatics from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She retired from the US Navy Nurse Corps after 22 years active duty service.
David Sterrett, Esq.
David Sterrett, Esq. is the principal of Sterrett Law, PLC. Dave focuses his practice on corporate law, trademark law, and government relations. Dave is a magna cum laude graduate of Middlebury College (’99) and a cum laude graduate of Boston College Law School (’04) who splits his time between Vermont and Boston. Before starting the firm, Dave served as a judicial law clerk, assistant corporation counsel for the City of Boston, associate at a large law firm in Boston, and lobbyist on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC.
Dave is also a health care lawyer with a decade of experience working with a variety of integrative health professionals on reimbursement issues. Dave lobbied on behalf of integrative healthcare providers during the implementation of the Affordable Care Act and he continues to lobby on these issues in the Massachusetts legislature. Dave has also worked with an insurer to cover non-allopathic healthcare procedures in a fully-insured large group health plan. He continues to utilize his litigation skills to enforce the rights of healthcare providers in court.
